Mini Screen for Samsung Syncmaster 2263DX

I’ve never had a particular favourite brand of anything, when it came to PC’s or PC components. As long as it wasn’t something which had a bad reputation for being poor quality or something, I was quite happy with it. But I must say that I am very impressed with Samsung’s Syncmaster series. They sure know how to get creative. We bought the Samsung Syncmaster 940mw and it makes for a brilliant TV. With the easy extra cables and sockets, it connects easily to your PC as well, which is pretty kewl. I had it hooked up to my PC last weekend and made myself comfy while watching re-runs of some of my favourite shows. I wouldn’t recommend replacing it altogether as a second PC monitor, it was definitely not made for that and you’ll find yourself with a nasty headache if you sit close to the Samsung Syncmaster 940mw like you would a normal computer screen.

But Samsung has now brought us a new PC monitor. What makes this one different? They’ve added a mini screen to their Samsung Syncmaster 2263DX. Some will say it’s just a total waste of money and others might like the idea, but will never pay good money for it. I myself like it, it’s a good idea, it saves you a little, money and space, of getting a whole second screen altogether and gives you that little bit of extra desktop space. I don’t know if I’d ever buy it, perhaps if I really used those types of programs a lot.

Ok so a little more about the Mini Screen for Samsung Syncmaster 2263DX. This is meant for those applications which has extra toolbars. They get in my way sometimes I must say, you tend to want your whole screen when working on something. So along with the actual monitor which is 22 inches and the mini screen which is mounted on the side is another 7 inches. I myself use Adobe a lot and it has a lot of toolbars, palettes, etc. This mini screen is perfect for that type of application, if you use it often, making it easier for you to navigate about.

The Mini Screen for Samsung Syncmaster 2263DX can be attached to the side or even the top of the main screen. It’s an easy and simple plug-and-play connection, which will also make it easy to move from the top to the side. Of course it’s not only for application with too many toolbars, it can used just as extra desktop space while you’re online, emailing or chatting. It’s a little pricey (especially for someone who doesn’t really need it), as you can get just a plain 22 inch flat screen for cheaper, but I’m sure that this price too, will eventually become a little more reasonable in time, but it is definitely a nice gadget
