I guess my fascination with all the available watch phones, I momentarily forgot about all the other gadgets, they can sneak a phone into Through the years, the pen has also always been a target for spy hard gadgets. Usually in the form of a weapon of some sort, like a laser, but I suppose a mobile phone the size of a pen, well it’s not such a bad idea.

The Haier P7 Pen Phone has a sleek design, in the form of a pen. The phone measures at 150 x 27 18.2 mm, weighs 65g and has all the features you’ll find in any other mobile phone. It uses WAP 2.0, has polyphonic ringtones, predictive text, a 90 minute voice recorder, a digital camera and a LCD colour screen where you can even play games on.

The Haier P7 Pen Phone supports USB cable connection, although I don’t think you’ll actually get a USB cable with the pen phone, not that it’s too hard to get one. Most gadgets nowadays have one. The talk time is impressive for such a small device, up to four hours of talk time and 130 hours of stand by time. And it uses a Li-Ion battery.

It might take some getting use to, with the little narrow LCD screen, especially if like me, you’re use to a full PDA type of screen… and a keyboard I suppose Also I think this pen phone is a little steep and would much rather invest in a watch phone, but still, it’s not too bad.
