What Will Sims 3 Cost and Will They Have Babies?
Saturday, April 05, 2008Strange post this one is, I know, it’s just that there was a surprisingly high number of queries regarding this, so I thought I’d make a quick post, just to clarify some things.
Firstly, The Sims 3 is probably going to cost what any other game costs when it comes out. What was The Sims 2 price upon release… around £30, £35? Something like that. But like I learned from a very high total of £70,
World of Warcraft, quickly dropped to £6… so my two copies just make me feel so frustrated when ever I look at them

Anyway, my point is, if you’re already worried about the cost, then just don’t buy it upon release, wait a few months till the price drops… it will eventually. But any true Sims fan isn’t gona wait that long. I for one intend to have a pre ordered copy waiting in store…. And most definitely in store, none of this unreliable next day delivery nonsense. So many fans were left waiting for The Sims 2: Free Time, it was unbelievable.
Anyway and as for babies. I find this an odd question. Why would they give the Sims more complex personalities and interactions and then not let them have babies? Babies will still be passing on their parents genes, as well as their personalities, as I mentioned in a previous post (
Sims 3 Traits, Bodies and a Other Tid Bits). We haven’t quite seen any pics of kids, toddlers or babies yet. But it is mentioned that there will be more interactions with Sims babies and toddlers. And something about toddlers being able to go out and about with older Sims, although this is 100% confirmed yet.
Happy Simming!
