Megasonic Dish Washer
Sunday, April 27, 2008I know when most people hear ‘gadget’ they immediately think of really kewl things like a video eyewear, a phone watch or something of the sort. But have you given a lot of thought to what the average home of the future holds? Ok so there’s already those internet refrigerators available, which I think I should blog about too this week.
This is definitely something I’ve often thought about, from all those sci-fi movies when I was a teeny tot, how some day you’ll be standing in a shower cubicle type of thing and there won’t be any water necessary to get clean… lol which is bizarre really, as time wasting as taking a bath is, does anything really replace the relaxing feeling of a hot bubble bath soak? Well yes I suppose there are a couple of things, none of which I could mention on here

So anyway, the megasonic SWV-08AM is what the future holds for us in our kitchen sinks. It’s basically designed to fit in place of your average kitchen tap. The megasonic uses sound waves, along with water, to clean the dishes. I’ll explain it in as much detail as I can. The megasonic’s sound waves induces micro cavitation which basically shakes loose impurities from your dishes, pots or cutlery’s surface and the water washes those impurities away. Other than replacing your dish washing liquid, the megasonic also has a sediment filter which basically purifies the water for drinking, which I think is a nice touch.
No word yet on price wise, but I’m sure you could imagine a couple of figures for something like this. Given, probably not the most affordable kitchen gadget yet, but perhaps our kids will one day live in a soap free world
Happy Shopping!
