Ok Other than my love of South Park, I’m an avid gamer and I have to agree with Cartman, it really is an online sensation! I’ve been playing for about a year and a half now and am totally addicted. World of Warcraft, a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) is a huge success. You know when you get stuck in a game and get bored, then don’t feel like playing again for a while? Well even when that happens, it doesn’t stay like that for long. The urge soon comes back to log on and WoW

The game itself is great,
Blizzard definitely lived up to the Warcraft series. When I started playing Reign of Chaos & Frozen Throne, it totally ruined all other strategy games, as the graphics, interface and general game play stood out so much compared to the rest. And at first I didn't think that WOW would be any good, as I love strategy based games, but it not only exceeded my expectations but opened up a whole new world to me. You can not only go around questing on your own, but you can make friends, quest in groups and join guilds. One of my characters, is in a very popular guild. They have their own website and now only let other characters in who fill in applications on their site. You can play on RP servers (role playing) & be totally in character at all times, if you love fantasy and the whole knights & medievil theme. Like I do

Also,
Blizzard has done a great job with the finer details. You got bunnies hoping around, toads, bugs, snakes, etc. And the fact that the weather changes in every area. I'm sure the other online games are good too, but the ones I've played, well haven't compared to WOW at all. I'm a superhero freak, I love anything super related & was so excited when I got City of Heroes but the disappointment was terrible, the game is just no good, no matter how great the super powers are. Aside from the fact that the interface & graphics are appalling, the game laaaags dreadfully! What I love about
Blizzard is that they made WOW work really smoothly. They have scheduled weekly maintenance when you know it'll be offline & they got tons of different servers to play on. And there was a big hype about another online game and I made the mistake of buying it, luckily I only tried the trial version, because I was absolutely let down by it.

So World of Warcraft has ruined all other MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) for me

With it’s first expansion released last week, The Burning Crusade, the World of Warcraft servers are now even fuller than before. We queued for four hours just to get a copy, at the midnight launch. The game creators were there to sign it for you as well. It was great, 2000 people turned up. It was the first midnight launch that
Blizzard has done in Europe and they were surprised at the turn out. I think they were a little overwhelmed

World of arcraft and the Burning Crusade is worth every penny you invest in it. And the £8.99 monthly fee isn’t that bad, compared to what
Blizzard offers you. So if there is anyone out there who still doesn’t have their very own World of Warcraft copy… go buy World of Warcraft, install it on your computer & join the online sensation before we all murder you
Happy Shopping!
