Nintendo Wii Console... Finally!

So we finally got a Nintendo Wii this weekend. By chance, because everwhere we go lately we ask if they have stock & they never do, we were in Central London & all the stores were out of stock... happen to ask the guy in Game (even though the sign said pre-order today) we figured we'd ask & to my surprise he said they received a shipment in that morning..... hesitantly, we bought one. We wanted one from the start but to be honest I was hesitant paying so much for one console & the games are pretty steep too. But I think our curiosity, combined with the fact it’s been out of stock ALL over London since it’s release early December, we decided to take one while we could. First time either of us has ever really bought a console of our very own, we're full on PC gamers, but I have to say, Nintendo has definitely outdone themselves with this console, it's lotsa fun, we played till the wiiiiii hours of the night :)

I was pretty impressed, being the geek that I am, that the Wii has it's own email. Been harassing my friends all morning with it. C'mon, it's kewl, your console has it's own built in email. Only thing, it's hard to type with the motion sensor control, exhausting! The games are pretty good, Wii sports, which comes with the console, is surprisingly fun to play, especially when you’re more than one person. I was a little disappointed by the fact that the console only comes with one controller and one nunchuck and the fact that they’re pretty expensive was a bit of a downer, but we got an extra one anyway & played all weekend.

Now our Wii is connected to our wireless broadband, along with my PDA, PSP, Laptop and extra PC’s (and any other gadget I can connect to it) and I have a feeling it’s gona be a much loved addition to my little electronic haven :grin: Worth the cost I think!
