Ok so I’ve searched for a couple of cheaper home security products and have found a few. But I suppose you’ll never be 100% totally safe. Even with the most sophisticated, expensive home security. To have that total, 100% peace of mind is something which in this day and age, with crime the way it is, impossible. So we keep trying to protect ourselves and our homes further. I suppose if you have something very valuable in your home, it might make you feel a little better to have a home safe to put it in. I guess with identity fraud and what not, perhaps putting your passports, birth certificates, ID’s, bank details, etc. in your home safe is a very good idea. Now I’ve been searching for home safes and there really are some pricey ones on the market. Anything from £30 up to £700! Well I thought I’d look at one of the cheaper ones today, not the cheapest, but still under £100.

The Phoenix Home Safe is ideal for home or office, as it can use either a high security double bitted key lock or a more advanced digital lock, which I suppose is more user friendly. You’ll receive fixing bolts to fix the safe either to the floor or wall. The Phoenix Home Safe is finished with a high quality scratch resistant paint and has a 2 year warranty.

The Phoenix Home Safe is constructed of a 4mm steel plate door and 3mm body and twin live locking blots and concealed internal hinges, which provides added security. The body is constructed from galvanised steel plate with a 4mm thick, solid steel door. The electronic lock is simple to operate, you can program your own security code, but just because it’s user friendly doesn’t mean it isn’t highly secure. The Phoenix Home Safe has a LED display and tone alert, showing the power status. There is an anti tamper lockout system which will freeze the lock should the incorrect combination be entered 3 times consecutively.
