Apple Mac Mini
Friday, August 24, 2007Apple has slaved away for months to bring us all something new and exciting since the
iPhone has had a bit of bad publicity lately. With that intro I would like to introduce Apple’s latest pride and joy they would like to refer to as Mini Mac. Apple has gone for the space approach and designed a smaller version of the ever so popular Apple Mac computer.

You can currently buy an Apple Mac Mini in two different models namely the Mac Mini 1.83Ghz and the Mac Mini 2.0GHz. The Mac Mini weighs about 1.31kg which is extremely light to carry around. The Mac Mini is powered by Intel Core Duo and is said to be about 39 times faster than a previous generation model. The Mac Mini has a remote which allows you flick through photos from anywhere in the room or control your music collection. All you need know is an internal or external TV card and you are set to have a all in one entertainment system.

If you are a serious geek or shall I say someone who would like maximum performance from their investment then I am sad to say it only allows you to upgrade the memory to 2GB. Hard drive space upgradeable to 160GB and a 24x Combo DVD/CD Drive and last but not least shared onboard graphics.

The Mac Mini is perfect for anyone with an extensive collection of music, photos or documents and who just want to have a computer to make their life easier. The Mac Mini is a great space saver and in my opinion quite portable. If you are a Apple Mac fan then you’ll love the super small Mac Mini.
